In Tinos you will find some of the best beaches in the Aegean! If you happen to visit the island during summer, you are bound to spend some of your time swimming, diving or just laying under the sun in some of them. There is a great variety of choices, from desert beaches with absolute silence to cosmopolitan ones with beach bars and activities to have some fun. Discover each and every one and you will be definitely rewarded.

Apigania

Isolated, sheltered with fine sand, it is one of the most exotic beaches of the island. Make sure you bring water and an umbrella for the sun. Located between Kionia and Giannakis bay, it is pretty quiet, not organized and not accessible by car. Many people consider it the most beautiful beach of the island. Although not easily accessible, it will reward you.

At the north-west side of Tinos:

AGIOS ROMANOS

Long, sandy beach, not crowded, not organized and not so windy. One can have there a local cuisine meal (Akroyali Tavern) or snacks and drinks at Kochili, a cosy little café-bar.

KALYVIA

Nice, sandy beach with a beach bar offering mainstream music and a number of sunbeds and umbrellas. Some food too.

ORMOS YANNAKI (KARDIANI)

Rather windy beach. Fish tavern on the beach.

YSTERNIA

Little cosy beach. Nearby one finds two very nice fish restaurants. One of them (Thalassaki) is of gourmet level and the more expensive of the island.

Driving further, at the north side of Tinos:

ROHARI

Large nice sandy beach next to Pyrgos Village. Pyrgos offers a number of fish-taverns.

KOLYMBITHRA

LIVADA

Sandy and pebbly offering a nice rocky scenic. A very good taverna as well nearby.

At the north-east side of Tinos:

SANTA MARGARITA, LICHNAFTIA

Two secluded, tucked away sandy beaches for the romantics!

PACHIA AMMOS

Long sandy beach. Nice food nearby. Fish and local cuisine.

AGALI

Rather short sandy and pebble beach. Beach bar-restaurant, sand beds and umbrellas. Really nice food.
